Careers

We're hiring two engineers.

CAP Tech is growing, and we're looking for a Tier 1 and a Tier 2 engineer to grow with us. Both roles are based at our Exeter office, working across Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure and security for clients throughout the South West.

If you're on a service desk somewhere that treats tickets as a numbers game, this is the opposite of that. We're a technology-led MSP, and our engineers get real exposure to the projects, not just the queue.

Tier 2 Engineer

Exeter Full-time

You can own an escalation end to end, and you're ready for more ownership, more architecture and more say in how things get done.

What we offer

  • Certifications paid for

We fund the training and the exams, because engineers who keep learning make better engineers.

  • Genuine progression

A real path from Tier 1 upwards, not a job title that stays the same for five years.

  • Modern tooling

Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure and security tooling worth having on your CV.

  • Root cause, not ticket count

A team that would rather fix the underlying problem than close the ticket and wait for it to come back.

Life at CAP

Why build your career here.

We're big enough to do serious work, small enough that you'll never be just a number.

Proudly local

Work from our Exeter base with a tight-knit team — no faceless call centre, no long commute into the city.

Room to grow

From Microsoft 365 to cyber security, you'll get real variety, proper training and the chance to develop across the stack.

People-first culture

Friendly, straight-talking and supportive. We look after each other the same way we look after our clients.
